Dr. Matthew David Johnson, MEng (Hons), PhD (b.1985)
Matthew Johnson is the choirmaster at Saint Ambrose, Kidderminster. Over the previous 19 years he has also held posts at Saint Catherine of Alexandria, Droitwich, Saint Peter and Saint Paul, Pype Hayes (Birmingham), Saint Mary, Clayton-le-Moors and Sacred Heart, Accrington, and has been both a cantor and chorister at the Birmingham Oratory. He is a composer of Church music and has performed in concerts across the UK, France and Poland. He is currently based near Tenbury Wells, Worcestershire. Erstwhile cantor and chorister at the Birmingham Oratory, he has led music in several churches in the Archdioceses of Birmingham and Salford, and at Diocesan pilgrimages.
