Downloads and suggestions for simple Motets and Plainchant to cover the church year.
Each can be sung in unison or with harmonies ad lib., and the keys of some of the works have been revised to allow these to be more accessible to the average church choir. Where suggestions link to external music resources (grey boxes), the choristers may benefit from some of these works being transposed down when sung in unison. Links are content that is made available for free, or to where it may be purchased if in copyright.
The page is organised:
- General
- Blessed Sacrament
- Blessed Virgin Mary
- Liturgical year (Advent to Trinity)
- Remembrance (November, pro Defunctis)
- Masses

Also see Useful Music Resources for more links, books and general recommendations, and the Useful Resources section in Using Plainchant Parishes for items of more chant-specific interest.
Where items are not in copyright but are listed as being on other sites, please feel free to be in touch via matt@opendiapason.org.uk as there may be resources that can be shared to place these into a singable key/provide accompaniment, if needed.
